This guide covers sending WhatsApp messages from PropOps and managing your message templates.

Sending a message

1

Open the job

Navigate to the job you want to send a message about.
2

Click Send WhatsApp

Click the WhatsApp button in the job action bar. This opens the message composer.
3

Select a template

Choose a message template from the dropdown. The template text is shown with dynamic variables (e.g. job reference, address, contractor name) already filled in.
4

Review and send

Click Send. WhatsApp Web or the WhatsApp app opens with the message pre-filled and the recipient’s number set. Review the message in WhatsApp and tap Send.
PropOps opens WhatsApp with the message ready to go — you confirm and send it yourself. No WhatsApp Business API account is required.

Managing templates

1

Open the template editor

Go to Admin → WhatsApp Templates.
2

Create or edit a template

Click Add Template to create a new template, or click an existing template to edit it. Define the message body and any placeholder variables.
3

Save the template

Save the template. It becomes available immediately in the message composer — no external approval is needed.

VariableReplaced with
{job_ref}The job reference number
{address}The job site address
